Terms of service

Last updated 8 November 2026. These terms apply when you create an account or buy a server from CheapRDP ("we", "us"). By ordering you agree to them.

The service

We rent you a virtual server running Windows Server, reached through our Remote Desktop Gateway, with administrator access, for the term you pay for. You're responsible for everything that runs on it and for keeping your password safe.

Billing and renewals

• Servers are paid in advance for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Prices include the discount shown at checkout.
• With auto-renew on, renewals are paid from your account balance. If the balance doesn't cover a renewal, the server is switched off until it's paid, and deleted after 7 days unpaid.
• Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Account balance can be used for any of our services. It isn't paid out as cash.

Refunds

If your server never becomes ready, or we can't deliver it, you get a full refund. If something on our side stops a server working and we can't fix it, contact us and we'll refund the unused time. We don't refund servers that were suspended for breaking these terms, or charges disputed with your bank instead of asking us first.

Acceptable use

You can't use our servers to:

• Send spam or bulk unsolicited email.
• Scan, attack, or try to break into other systems, or run denial-of-service attacks.
• Host or distribute malware, phishing pages, or anything illegal in Germany or where you are.
• Infringe copyright, including running public file-sharing or torrent seeding of material you don't own.
• Use stolen payment details or accounts, including reselling access bought with them.
• Mine cryptocurrency, or otherwise run the CPU at full load for long stretches.

We can suspend a server straight away when we get an abuse report or see activity that breaks these rules. Serious or repeated cases are deleted without a refund, and we cooperate with law enforcement when legally required to.

Availability

We aim to keep every server running around the clock and post maintenance and incidents on the status page. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the affected server in the previous three months.

Your data

We don't back up your server. You're responsible for your own data. When a server is deleted, its disk is wiped and can't be recovered. How we handle your account details is covered in the privacy policy.

Microsoft software

Windows Server is licensed to you through us under Microsoft's service provider terms. You can't transfer the licence or use it outside the server we provide.

Changes and cancelling

You can turn off auto-renew or delete a server at any time from the dashboard. We may change these terms or our prices; changes apply from your next renewal, and we'll tell you about important ones in advance.
